iPhone 12 pro max poor quality photos and videos

My new shiny IPhone 12Pro Max does not recognize my touch! Intermittently won't open screens - close s reens - skips keyboard keys, like in the word 'screens' I just tried to type & will not allow touch screen in between words/letters to make corrections. I came from a 6 Plus because I maxed out my 64k. Wish I could go back....to almost any phone but this! Unbelievably frustrating , a d (that would be 'and') I normally don't speak out ...but this phone has been beyond disappointing and sub par!

What a completely infuriating response from Apple!!! I am honestly considering paying out my contract on my iphone 12 max pro and switching to android. My husband NEVER EVER has issues with his phone and the pictures are always a MILLION times better!

But my pics & video look horrible on my new iPhone 12 Max Pro device’s camera roll, so it has nothing to do with social media regarding my experience or complaints that this new phone is not as awesome as it was hyped up to be. 😢

Why is IPhone 12 Pro Max has garbage quality on Snap and Instagram? At this point I’m sure every iPhone user will switch to android. I’m very disappointed. I have waited 4 generations to upgrade from 8 Plus to 12 Pro Max and yet I’m super disappointed. Apple what is this bs?

I don’t understand how my 4-5 year old phone has a better front camera. What’s the reason for an upgrade? I was excited for a faster phone and better camera quality. All of the new features Apple have added to the cameras did nothing but made everything worse. Apple. You have failed and undoubtedly disappointed me.

To upload Apple 12 photos to Shutterfly without distortion you have to turn off Shutterfly’s VividPics button. Go to Shutterfly/photos/my photo settings/image preferences. Then turn off VividPics.

Voila! The pictures transfer perfectly!

Yeah I’m honestly a little disappointed too, I was spending $100 a month on my broken iPhone 8 so I decided to upgrade. I was super excited to see how nice the camera was but it’s grainy in the regular camera on the phone and on apps?? Like even if you zoom in you can see slight grain and when it’s dark it’s SUPER Grainy even with night mode turned on.

somewhat reminds me of when I had those iPods with the camera on them 😒 I love the phone in every other aspect but the camera quality is what truly matters the most to me. I feel like I’m using an android ( and at this point an android would be better and CHEAPER )

I agree the camera quality on this 12 pro max is garbage AF. I upgraded from my XS for a bs *** camera!! My XS took GREAT selfies and videos. $1099 for a DOWNGRADE. I don’t know why Apple even released this BS. Literally nothing is great about this camera it’s actually worse. I want my XS back I would’ve got a XS max, but they stopped making it don’t know why since this camera is trash compared to the XS🙄.

i agree with all yall. I literally upgraded from my iphone 8plus just to get a more expensive phone but the camera is so ugly . Apple need to fix this because its like they so worried about making the phones more pricey and smaller boxes that they forgot to INSTALL THE NEW CAMERA WITH THE PHONE 😂

I work in Social, and everything I am doing is now garbage. Reels and tiktocks are blurry, washed out or bright orange and horrible. Today apple told me its not fixable. so I am basically stuck with a phone I can't use

same problem. IPhone Pro Max .. even after cleaning the lens. I am very disappointed. my other iPhone was better ... very grainy pictures.

Ok guys... now I’m really 😡 I contacted support through Feedback app for developers about camera flickering issue on iPhone 12 Pro Max... and this is what I got.

I have the same problem. My pics on my 7 iPhone were great. These won’t transfer to Shutterfly without being distorted.
