iPhone 12 pro max poor quality photos and videos

Please help!! I just got the new iPhone 12 pro max but so disappointed because the video is poor quality when I post it on my Instagram stories and Facebook stories. It looks clear on my photo app but it’s showing blurry on both stories. I already turn off the HDR on setting so that’s not the problem. I bought the iPhone knowing I’ll have the best pic quality but now I regret it and sad I want to buy an old iphone so I could achieve the clear quality I used to have. Any suggestions to help fix this problem?

It's in your settings under "facebook" and not "photos". You will see that your settings to upload video and photo's in HD is disabled and you need to turn it on. Mostly likely setup that way so people don't bust on data. My 12 Pro did the same thing.

I bought iPhone 12 pro max expecting superior camera, I use the camera every night in poor lighting to scan paperwork for my job, I can't control the lighting because it's night shift and it's in my truck. My old Samsung did the job fine, but this iPhone creates shadows, and I have to turn on the flash every time because it won't recognize that the flash is needed when in auto, and it always reverts back to auto. But even with flash the shadows are still there. The Samsung never had this problem. The Samsung A70 is a far superior phone all around only the keyboard started glitching so I thought it was time to upgrade. Now I regret getting an iPhone
