Btw. there is another big threat about that issue in the Apple Support Community here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252151864
I had a long chat with the Apple support and he tested my phone with the Apple inspector and a battery check but he can't find something wrong. Then I had a chat with his boss and after that I got a call from Apple from a guy from the Apple care team (I don't have Apple care). We are talking long about that issue and in the end he gave me to tips:
https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
He told me that Apple takes care about the feedback issues and when a lot of people writing a feedback for the same issue, the developers taking care to have a look and try to fix it. But it's only necessary over this ways (Bug request, feedback formular, get in contact with the support). He told me that they ignore the Apple Support Communities for that. a

no one expects miracles, but there is a clear difference in battery life after installing the new update. Mind you, few replies back another person noticed the same thing on his new phone with the battery capacity of 100%. So no, it's not the problem with a consumable good and unrealistic expectations.
Go to Settings > Battery and see if it identifies an app that is unexpectedly using up the battery.
Should just charge your phone overnight too.

I had the same problem when upgrading from ios14.2 to ios14.4
I did 2 things and the battery has been holding the charge at 100% for 6 hours now.
I hope this helps.
my battery drains on LPM decently. I’ll come back and it’ll be 2-3% lower , after iOS 14.3. This phone is only 10 days old , so this update has a serious bug, I guess which is worse on the latest models.
I have exactly the same issue on my SE. maximum capacity is at 87% and I do most of my app activity while plugged in. I used to easily survive on the battery while using the apps until the night when I am charging, now I have to recharge in the afternoon :(
I know how to keep my battery in proper maintenance. My iPhone SE 2020 needs charged twice a day and all I really use is Maps all day. The battery drain began after I installed iOS 14.3.
For a test, I charged my phone to 100% last night. I closed all apps. When I awoke five hours later, my phone was at 68%.
I’m having this same issue with my iPhone XR, and It’s super annoying! Before iOS 14.3, I sometimes go to sleep with 90% and wake up with 89-88% which its normal, right when I installed iOS 14.3, it completely went downhill. I went to sleep with my battery on 52%, when I wake up, It was already on 23%! I was so confused that something damaged my battery or something. And rarely I wake with my phone completely empty! At least I’m not the only that its having this issue and I’m hoping the next update this will get fixed.
Help! Just updated to IOS 14.3. Had in airplane mode on a hike and idle it drained to 3 percent from 76%. Last night I knocked it off charger and it drained to 1% from 86% in 3 hours.
It has 100% Capacity. WHAT THE ****! This is dangerous. I like to go on hikes and I need my phone to hold a charge.

I think you must have this option. I talked about Carrier selection like the service provider who you pay for the mobil data plan, not the connection tipe your device use. Names in the settings may different like cellular(Mobil Data) but I think it have to be there.
Thank you for all that information! I once knew where it but am thinking my phone’s settings are a bit different because I’m on a prepaid plan. Of course, I’ve had a ditzy day and may have it all wrong.
You are lucky, tonight i went to sleep with the battery at 100% and woke up that it was at 23% everything happened after installing ios 14.3
Hey guys
I don't read all the others posts but I have the same issue with my iPhone 11 Pro since upgrading to iOS 14.3 from iOS 14.2.
With iOS 14.2 = Battery for over two days
With iOS 14.3 = Battery for one day max!
I tested it the last days and the battery is definetely very bad (this happens immediately after upgrading to 14.3). Something is wrong. The phone is not warm/hot, no unusual thing in the battery check and I don't use it more.
14.3 is definitely draining battery life. Woke up at 100%. Spoke once on it for maybe 10 minutes. I’m at 48% right now. 11 max pro. Started draining after the update. One charge used to last me a day and a half.
