iPhone 12 Max Pro Microphone not working

Bottom mic and the speaker mic were non functional

Took it in to Apple and they tested and confirmed the fault. Phone replaced with a new one.

I went to the apple store, they run some diagnostics and they replaced the phone on the spot. I upgraded to the latest software and no issues. While inconvenient I am happy with how it was handled.

I used the Phone Diagnostic App which showed there was a hardware fault with 2 Microphones over all frequencies. Apple replaced it and the new one works without a problem so far.

Same here. Ran diagnostic app myself and then replicated by Apple at Genius Bar. Replacement phone on the spot.

I got a replacement for my phone in January and the replacement has the same issue! So frustrated

Turning off noise cancellation worked for me!

My issue turned out to be hardware related and they had to give me a new phone

Hi u have same case with me I bring my mobile to apple and they ask me to wait 1 month and they replaced with new mobile with series N they said the microphone is failed

Download a phone diagnostic app and test it. It will tell you if the microphones have failed. Then take it to an apple store and get a replacement phone. This is exactly what happened to mine

If you look at other threads you will see that this is a common hardware failure with the microphones. . I had the same issue and returned it to Apple for a replacement which works perfectly.
