why is internet recovery boot not working

I tried to use internet recovery shortcut on my MacBook Pro 15”(Mid 2015). It only showed up with a selection from wifi networks to connect to. I connected to my home network and it just showed the spinning globe and wifi status symbol next to my network name. After about 30 minutes a warning sign showed up with a code(-2002F) .I tried again rebooting the laptop with a different network and it still had the same result.
