the search feature in Mail does not work

I upgraded to MACOs 11.0.1 and the Mail utility is close to worthless. The search feature returns nothing, i have duplicate mail boxes, i.e. two drafts, two sets, three trash. The app does not delete the original e-mails from the server as I have requested.

Is Mail ever going to operate properly?

Also support for Mac devices is following the trend of Microsoft, it is becoming extinct!

Try rebuilding the Mailbox. The command is in the Mailbox menu. Select a mailbox and use the Rebuild command.

Mail works properly for me.
