Hello. My home pod Mini not showing up as a Home Hub. I have the same icloud log in, twice I've tried to reset it and reinstall. I have one router in the house. My iPad mini shows up as a home hub as a test, but I want the HomePod mini to the hub.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

If you have one device showing “connected” as a Hub! That’s it, it will only be one.
The others should show as on “standby” . They will switch around on their own.
Is the HomePod mini showing as standby? If it is, there’s nothing to worry about.
However you could try removing the iPad as a hub. I personally would leave as a backup for when the mini fails to work in HomeKit. but it’s up to you
In your iPad go to settings > Home - Use this iPad as a home hub - disable it

1) The steps provided in the link say that homepod mini should be automatically set up. Keychain and two factor are already enabled.
2) The software is updated on the homepod mini (14.3)
Any other ideas for what could be the issue?
