AirPods Pro connects but no sound and freezes apps such as YouTube

Hello Community,

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 14.3. My AirPod Pro connect, connecting via iCloud and don’t give me the option in the Bluetooth settings to connect to just the phone. Once connected I cannot get any media or use for calls. Additionally when AirPods are connected apps such as YouTube and WhatsApp freeze up, volume button freezes as well. The same AirPods connect fine to another iPhone 12 and the other AirPods connect fine to my phone. Any suggestions???

Hello,

1) Restart your phone

2) Full reset on AirPods: Reset your AirPods

3) If they seem to be connected, but won't play, try this:

a) Open the Control Center

b) Long press on the music controls

c) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)

d) Select AirPods
