newtwork provider error on Macbook from iPhone

This message continually pops up when my iPhone is connect to my computer "Could not check for an update to the network provider settings for your iPhone. This device is no longer connected."


Nothing will make it go. Help!!! (Thanks in advance.)

Based on what you mentioned, it sounds like your iPhone is connected to your computer and looking for a carrier update. Review this document: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad. As you see there, you may need to contact the carrier for help with the carrier update.


If you still have trouble you may be able to get help where you are when you Contact Apple for support and service.
