Print Job simply disappears from Print Queue, Why is that?
I'm trying to print a Pages document via USB from MBP retina in Mac OS Big Sur 11.1 to an HP Deskjet F44580 printer.
I added the printer through : Add Printer > And selected "HP DeskJet Series" in the use field.
After supposedly setting the printer up, the printer now appears in the list of available printers. I select the printer and click "Print", then document briefly appears in the Print Queue and disappears. I have to point out that the completed jobs window does show the document even though it hasn't printed anything.
I went to the hp drivers page and there's nothing available for mac os, only for windows. I tried downloading HP easy start and while it recognises the printer it says it's unable to locate "any software options for this product"
I also tried reseting the "Printing System" via "System Preferences" and it still doesn't work.
Any help would be appreciated
