Internet works but can’t download files in browsers

I’m at my wits end. Have been trying to download latest drivers on bootcamp when I had trouble downloading drivers files. Returned to my Mac partition and attempted to update to latest 11.1 big sur, and it’s not downloading, any files I try to download via browsers fail after 50ish mb saying network connection was lost, but I have been browsing internet no issues before and after.

no other devices have issues, I can still browse internet, have tried other routers

don’t know what to do
