M1 Chip and LG Wide Screen Monitor

I have a new Mac Book Pro with micro USB ports. I am trying to connect to an LG ultra wide monitor that needs a resolution of 2560x1080 but the MacBook does not seem to have that resolution. It was fine with the prior Mac and intel chip. Any idea how to fix this?

No Mac has ever been issued with Micro-USB ports. The ports on current Macs are reversible USB-C ports:

USB type-C

2560 by 1080 should be supported in every MacBook Pro since about 2008.

what model display or a link to its specs?

MacBook Pro with Apple-silicon M1 supports up the 6K resolutions.

EXACTLY what cables and adapter and hubs are being used?
