Unable to install OS on my Macbook air

My Macbook was freezing frequently and unable to continue working unless reboot. So, the disk was erased to re-install Mac OS. Now, when I try to reinstall OS, computer does not recognize the disk. What is the problem and how can I solve that?

OSX install from Internet can't find disk location Old MAcBook Air was failing to boot. Erased Disk in order to run a restore from the Internet to load a fresh image but when I get to the "Select the disk you want to install OSX" no disk shows .. Do I need to do something in Disk Utiity first because I erased it before?

Try setting the NVRAM as per Linked instructions

I have tried to reset NVRAM, it didn't work.
