Books don't show up in Finder window when trying to sync to iPhone using Big Sur

I see my epubs in the Books App, but when I go to the Finder, connect my iPhone, and click on the Books tab, nothing shows up. Does anyone know of a fix?

Books.app syncs on iPhone and iPad, but not on Mac I have Books on my iPhone, iPad and Mac. If I open a book on the iPhone or iPad, it opens in the Books app, and it will sync my reading progress. In other words, if I read up to page 20 on my iPhone, it will open at page 20 when I open it on my iPad. But if I open the Books app on my Mac, the book opens in Preview, and does not bring me to the last page read on the other device. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using the latest OS on all devices.

books not syncing to my ipad I remember having this issue with audiobooks when Ipad os 13 came out but I don't remember what I did to solve it. Now I'm having the same issue with books. I go to finder > my ipad > Books. Everything I want transferred is selected .. but nothing syncs over. I've tried rebooting the macbook pro, rebooting my ipad, using different cable, plugging into the different usb ports. I've also tried, on my mac, finder > go > home > get info > the selecting "apply to closed items" in the bottom selection options. On my ipad I've also went to settings > my name > icloud > the turning off and then back on "books." Can someone please help? Ipad OS 13.4.1 along with the latest addition of Catalina on my 2015 macbook pro. thank you!

When trying to move a file to Books, the Books icon does not appear. How can I find it? I tap Share but Books is not an option when I try to move the file.

Maybe they are iCloud Drive books? Any books that are synced via iCloud Drive are not eligible for Finder sync.

Thanks! I seldom use iCloud, so I never thought of looking there - but I did as you suggested, and there they were!
