Thank you for your reply. However all of the steps you've recommended were steps that I had already taken to resolve the issue I'm experiencing. (My app store user ID and password pre-dates iCloud. So it's different from my login credentials fro iCloud.) On all my devices I am logged into the correct account for both. Additionally, I logged all of my devices out of the iCloud and the app store. I wiped my 7th generation iPad and reinstalled the OS downloaded from Apple rather than from a backup. I was able to launch a fitness routine off my iPad for 24 hours before it reverted back to not being able to find my Apple Watch. At this point, I will cancel my subscription to Apple Fitness given the difficult of trying to make this work. Since the 14.2 IOS update, the sound notifications have stopped working on all my devices unless I turn off my iPhone. Clearly this is a software bug given how many other users have reported similar issues with Apple Fitness and the most recent IOS/iPadOS updates.
