MMS Please help

I’ve been having the same issues. I have iPhone X. I can send messages but not pictures to non iPhones. Can’t access data either unless I’m at home on my own WiFi or if I connect to free WiFi when I’m out. I’m thinking of getting rid of the free service crap and going with actual real service with T-Mobile for $40 month.

Hey Taylor. I had to swap iPhones recently to get the other repaired. I put the SIM card in my iPhone 6s and MMS didn't appear.

So I put in the TMUS APN.

Turned off the phone, then turn it back on.

Went straight to Message and I had the MMS message on now.

Long story short turn off your phone then turn it back on. It should appear then hopefully 🤞🏽

Attn all Q-Link users with an Iphone. I have an Iphone 7 and I used the following APN settings and has worked for me so far.

I seen a bunch of different ways you can update the apn settings, but I used the following below and haven't had any issues, yet. lol Ok, its pretty simple and you really don't need to type much, and by doing this. It will allow you to send MMS messages and you won't get that annoying error message saying your MMS feature needs to be turned on anymore. Let me know if it does or doesn't work.

On your Iphone follow these steps

1) Click on that grey app called "SETTINGS"

2) then, click on "Cellular"

3) Under Carrier -then click on " Cellular Data Network"

Cellular Data

APN: cinet.spcs

Username: Leave this blank, you don't need to type a username

Password: Same thing, leave this blank, you don't need to type a password

LTE Setup (optional) - Also leave this whole section empty, don't type anything here.,

APN: Leave this section blank, you don't need to type anything in the APN section

Username: Leave this blank, you don't need to type a username

Password: Same thing, leave this blank, you don't need to type a password

MMS

APN: Leave this section blank, you don't need to type anything in the APN section

MMSC: Leave this section blank as well, you don't need to type anything in the MMSC section

MMS Proxy Leave this section blank, you don't need to type anything in the MMS Proxy section

MMS Max Message Size: 1048576

MMS URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

I hope this helps but also contact qlink even online the qlink website I logged in and said something about they was updating some things and needed to send me a new sims card and it works wayyyy better then before the data is way faster that is what they said it would be and it really is but I hope this helps I know what you are experiencing and it really is a pain in the a** so I hope this works.

Your so welcome it took me hours to get that info from the qlink tech support but I wrote it down in case it reset or whatever good thing too because it reset lol I lost it and tried to call in to qlink to as again for that and they wouldn't tell me lol wtf I eventually found where I put it lol but I am glad to have helped you out I dealt with it for long time it sucks not able to send pics and stuff.

I have an iPhone 8plus and I'm having the exact same problem. Only other iPhone can receive pic messages from me. Other phones only get a message full of words and numbers no pic. I've reset network changed apn and tried everthing.nothing is working

This definitely worked for my iPhone 11. I followed the instructions you posted and I can finally send picture messages to non iPhone users!!! Yay! This has been frustrating me for months. Thanks for posting this!

Do you mean the APN field of the actual settings should literally be: tmus

Was "tmus" a mispelling or typo?

All T-mobile APN documentation I can find give this for the APN field:

APN: Fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices) or epc.tmobile.com (for non-LTE devices)

Where did this "tmus" information come from....?

These settings worked for me for two days, and then stopped working again. Don't get it. I gave up my free wireless, and went to T-Mobile. Constantly get messages, emails, texts, and snail mail telling me about free unlimited data. Doesn't matter much if the data doesn't work at all! Went to T-Mobile because I need data for work.

If you have the new GSM/T-Mobile SIM with Qlinkwireless, you'll want to use the T-Mobile APN MMC settings, for me the APN has to be tmus

Everbody here only users of Apple products, no Apple employees. What are you trying to send with MMS, photos, videos? MMS are wireless carrier’s feature, not Apple.
