Hello shream195,
It seems like your alarm and timer sounds are too soft and that makes it hard for you to use these features.
Please start by verifying your alarm volume. Adjust the volume on iPhone - Apple Support
You have two options. The volume buttons work differently while listening to things: "When you’re on the phone or listening to songs, movies, or other media, the buttons on the side of iPhone adjust the audio volume. Otherwise, the buttons control the volume for the ringer, alerts, and other sound effects. You can also use Siri to turn the volume up or down."
Or you can lock the volume buttons: "Lock the ringer and alert volumes in Settings
- Go to Settings .
- Tap Sounds & Haptics (on supported models) or Sounds (on other iPhone models).
- Turn off Change with Buttons."
If turning the volume up while the alarm is sounding does not help, please make sure that your phone is updated to iOS 14.3 or newer: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If you still have issues, please let us know, previously, did you notice this behavior on your previous device?
Does this happen with existing alarms that were already there, or have you tested by creating new alarms and seeing how the volume is?
You can try to create some new alarms and see if the sound is still too soft. If you are using a case, also try to remove that to test.
Do you use any headsets that have volume controls as well?
Regards.
