Photos

I want to see my photos with the toolbar and side bar visible--as the default. Not in full screen.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

To exit full screen tap the Esc key (to the left of the 1 key on the next to the top row of the keyboard)

In the process of trying to SEE that little backarrow, I made my Photos page bigger and voila, the side bar appeared. I just had the window too small!

Thanks, but my problem was not getting out of full screen, but rather having the sidebar show when it WASN'T full screen. But I appreciate your suggestion.
