MacBook Pro not detecting second monitor

My 2016 MacBook Pro will no longer detect my second monitor. I have changed all cables and connectors and reset SMC and NVRAM. Monitor is a 27" Samsung, it shows a message "check signal cable with 3 squares then a blue rectangle saying analog. I have turned everything on & off several times, but I still cannot get the monitor detected. I have just updated to macOS Big Sur v11.1 & turned on & off & reset SMC & NVRAM again & nothing. I look forward to your solutions :)

I faced similar issue but i found that if power plug is connected in one of the USB C device then macbook does not detect second or extended monitor. Try by removing power cable and connect.

Also make sure you uncheck mirror check box and instead of choose left or right monitor for from arrangement tab for extended view.

Thanks, I tried but it still will not identify a monitor. It will not show me the option for arranging an extended view
