Locating Individual Instruments in Garageband 10.3.5

I have Garageband 10.3.5 installed on my MacBook Pro. Is it possible to select individual stringed instruments, for example a cello or a violin? I seem to only be able to find smart strings and string ensemble, yet a friend has Garageband on an iPad and can see so many more stringed instruments than I can.

Garageband for Mac Hello - I have been using GB on both ipad and iphone, and really like the touch instruments. I have recently borrowed a Mac as I'm thinking of upgrading, but find that I don't have access to the touch/smart instruments. Is this because they aren't available on OS or is it that I just can't find them! I tend to use the autoplay function on the guitar smart instrument when I'm working out demos etc and would like to find this on Mac GB version if I can. I have the latest version of GB. how can i add multiple instruments playing at one time in garageband hello, i am using garageband on my MacBook, but i cannot figure out how to use multiple instruments at once, i clicked hip hop, and it already has "Trap door (dez)" and a bunch of other pianos and a string ensemble, but i only trap door (dez) is playing, and i don't know how to get the others to play
