Apple maps - speed cameras uk

When iOS 14 first came into effect there were speed camera alerts with a audio warning of your speed - this has now disappeared so is that because it is now a subscription only feature - according to a few certified responses it was only available in the US - but that wasn’t the case on my CarPlay - has someone got a definitive answer
