Wirelss charger not turning green

I have a Verizon 10 Watt Qi wireless charging pad for my iphone 12. I can get it to charge but at 100% the charger stays solid white and doesn't turn solid green. I am wondering if there is a fix for this first and foremost, but I am also wondering if that means the phone charging hasn't stopped? I know if you keep the charge after 100% it can takes its toll on the battery.

Hi JCBbsci,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with a Verizon Qi charger and your iPhone 12. It sounds like you are concerned the charger light doesn't turn a solid green.

While you'd need to contact Verizon to find out why the charger behaves this way, your iPhone should automatically stop taking a charge at 100%. There isn't danger of overcharging.

Have a fantastic day!
