iPhone 12 Max Pro Randomly scrolling up

My new iPhone 12 Pro Max is acting up. It’s 2 weeks old and on WhatsApp, Facebook and Safari it randomly scrolls up. Nothing I do prevents this from happening. It is completely random. Tried erase and reset and install as new without transferring apps or data from backup as Apple Rep suggested but Nothing works.

My iPhone X started randomly scrolling up yesterday. Has worked without problems for years. Even as I type this it keeps scrolling up. Turned off Haptic Touch, soft reset, hard reset—nothing works. Updated to 14.5 with no success. Been having more and more issues with all my Apple stuff. Between my M1 Mac mini that turned into a brick (not joking) after 2 weeks, my Apple Watch that has mostly been sitting on a charger during covid and the first time I wear it out last week the dial was completely locked up, and the issues with this phone…I think this spells the end of my relationship with Apple. It’s all really disappointing. Everything is just designed to fail. I take tremendous care of all my gadgets and of course Apple is the only brand having issues.

Give it a good clean. Make sure to remove and disconnect all (if any) accessories from your iPhone. Try to use it in different room/place in case of some environmental issues.

If you tried all that and you don’t tap top of the screen to initiate “back to top” scrolling then it sounds as the might be an issue with the screen’s digitizer and service would be needed.

My 3 week old iPhone 12 Pro likes to start jumping up in scrolling if you've been using it a while. Regardless of battery level. Also Amazon shopping, safari, and chrome all freeze on me. Just stop responding to touch. Have to close app entirely then reopen. Opposite ends of the same problem. Phone is aggravatingly slow with WiFi (we have speeds around 350 with Spectrum) below about 70% power. I really with I could beta test phones. If there's gonna be an off the wall or any issue at all, my phone will have it. My moms phone has been behaving perfectly. Same phone bought same time.

I’m having the exact same problem and it doesn’t matter if it’s online at a website or an actual app. I’ve been trying to figure out how to word it to see if others were having the same problem. I'm I’m also having a problem where it just scrolls up automatically in certain apps. As well as having a problem with scrolling up and down within the website pages; it gets stuck in a certain section and the toolbar at the bottom freezes up
