orange dot appears whilst my phone is locked, indicating the microphone is on, but disappears as soon as the unlock screen appears

Weirdly only the orange dot appears when my phone is locked, but as soon as I go to unlock it it disappears, makes me feel as though my microphone is on the whole time the phone is locked.

ive swiped down from the corner and there doesn’t appear to be an apps using the microphone, I’ve also gone through settings and disabled microphone for all apps but still having issues!

anyone help?

Thanks, that’s a good idea!

as you can see in the below one when the phone is locked, the orange dot is showing

then when I go to unlock it, it disappears

ive tried a lot of things to get rid of it, played around with the settings and stuff but it’s still doing it.

any help would be appreciated!

It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images / pictures speak louder than words. Do not provide any personal credentials, such as email id, apple id, IMEI number, Serial Number, Phone number, Order ID, if you are sharing a map ensure your location is not identifiable. Etc.
