iPad air 2020 screen reacts weirdly to pressure even with apple pencil

My new iPad air seems to have a screen issue. When I add pressure with apple pencil I can see a weird blurring/flickering on that spot. If I brush with longer stroke that “blur” continues alongside stroke. when I apply more pressure with finger, that blurring appears a bit on the other spot. Should I go to warranty for that?

You can make a Genius Bar appointment to have your device checked by Apple if you wish. Apple will explain your options from there.
