icloud email account locked out

How do I get iCloud email back.

Email Accounts are not working on my wife’s IPAD 4 since We swapped out (I have her IPad Air which is working fine and all transferred ok)

Her account seems to be locked out as ID password is being rejected every time she tries to sign in

Has she tried changing the password?


 Apple ID Password Change.      


 What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support     I suggest doing this before you change your Apple ID or password.

Apple senior guy with more know was very helpful than the two juniors was able to recover the email accounts.

Tried several things for about 2 hours using her IPAD4

What finally worked was my wife was able to sign in to Apple for her two email accounts using my IPAD air.

she used her credentials and She was able to change the password for her ICLOUD email account using my IPAD.

she could not do this on her IPAD 4 even after changing her user ID password several times.

a pop up window kept asking to change her ICloud user ID password and rejected all entries.

Both email accounts started working on her IPAD4 right after.
