App crashing on my iPhone 8 Plus

Hey guys, I have an iPhone 8 Plus. I’ve had Tinder for like 3 years now. It used to have a lot of random glitches, bugs but I was able to use it. 6 months ago, my Tinder app glitched and crashed, to the point that it opened, but every time I pressed log in or sign up, it would just close. I deleted it and reinstalled it and it was the same. Fast forward to now, it still closes it, I have deleted the app countless times, I have done factory and hard resets many times, I even fully wiped out my phone using my Macbook/iTunes but it’s still the same! The only way to use it is through the website, which *****.. All other apps work just fine. I have a theory that some old cache files are still there, which trigger the bug/crash. How can I fix it? Any ideas?

Force quit the app, then open it again

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Force the app to close. Apple Watch: With the appopen, press and hold the side button to show the power options. ... Apple TV: Double press the TV/Home button and swipe left or right to find the app with the issue. Then swipe up to close the app.

If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won't open ...

Try a Reset All Settings (No Data is Lost)

This resets all your personalized features back to factory defaults

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

  • What this effectively does is to reset some of your Settings to factory default. It’s not a complete removal of settings. It removes all of your preferences for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do No Disturb, Notifications, General, Sounds, Brightness & Wallpaper and Privacy.
  • Resetting all settings also reverts all your personalized and customized features like wallpapers and accessibility settings back to factory defaults.
  • Performing this action does not impact any of your personal device data, including photos, videos, notes, messages, reminders, emails, calendars, texts, documents, and other files
