Trying to open downloaded app from an unidentified developer on MacBook Air 2020

I get this messages when I try to open downloaded software update from Sony

The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)

In settings I allow download from both Apple and identified developers. This is one of 2 options I have. The other option is App Store. Any suggestion what I can do?

High Sierra App Store corruption issue I have a App Store update issue with my MacAir (V10.13.6/1.86 Ghz/Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB mem). The normal page for checking for updates appears to be corrupted - see my picture to show the current state. I appreciate that this is an older computer and there are few security updates being installed. But I would like to ensure that the proper mechanism for installing them works. Is there a fix to reset the App Store to bring it back to normal state somehow. Thanks, Dan (sorry, the image was rotated by the insertion process).

App cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer Hello! I just installed the new update big Sur and all the time I have a push up which says: -"udandan.app" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware. This file was downloaded on an unknown date.- Then it gives me the option of "move to trash" or "cancel", but if I choose "move to trash" another push up appears and says -"udandan.app" could not be moved to Trash, Please move this item to the trash manually-. I searched in all my apps and files and I don't have anything with the name "undandan"... somebody has the same issue or you know how could I fix it? Thank you so much for your support.
