Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

All of a sudden when trying to open one of my FCPX libraries, I get an error message saying file “__BackupInfo.plist” couldn’t be opened. I have no idea why this is happening. I haven't even opened that library in a while.

All of a sudden when trying to open one of my FCPX libraries, I get an error message saying file “__BackupInfo.plist” couldn’t be opened. I have no idea why this is happening. I haven't even opened that library in a while. I have a ton of video footage in this library as well as working projects.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.14

What happens after you get that message? Where is the library stored? Do you know where the backups are stored, in the default location? Start by resetting preferences holding Opt-Cid as you launch the application.
