com.apple.AppleUserHIDDrivers high cpu

I have an apple m1 16gb pro and the process com.apple.AppleUserHIDDrivers will often take 50% of the CPU when I'm moving my wireless mac mouse on the screen.

Really frustrating for buying all of this expensive hardware which is supposed to be "top of the line"

I have to plug the AC charger almost all the time and the laptop is really hot, very uncomfortable to use. I wonder whether it is common for other users and how to stop this from happen? I did un-tick all options in Software Update setting (no check or automatic update any more) Thanks for every response and solution to solve this problem!

mac mini and usb hub Hi, Mac mini M1 2020 OS 11.5 I bought an Anker 4 port USB hub so I could run backup drives and Camera. My mouse becomes slow and laggy after a couple of days. If I unplug things and put them back, the mouse behaves normally....for a couple of days. I'm thinking this is caused by the hub. Are there known good hubs to try? Thanks

HIDD stands for Human Interface Device Drivers.

Maybe there are some settings you can change to reduce the amount "chatty" traffic that device generates.
