while listening to Bluetooth in my Ford Transit the music will start getting choppy then slows down like an old record. Closing the music app doesn’t change it. Opening another music all gives same result. I’ve also noticed while connected to the same Bluetooth. Apps like Facebook will not play sounds on videos unless I’m playing music. It’s really weird. I’m not sure if it’s a Ford thing or what.

Since it is just happening in your car, please check to see if there are any available firmware updates for your stereo. You may have to check with Ford for help with that.

Just got my 12 Pro yesterday, and it’s doing the same thing. I did everything Google told me to do - deleting from car, reloading, turning BT on and off, etc., etc. Stumped them at the AT&T store, though they suggested updating software in my Subaru. I did. Didn’t help.
My music works on CarPlay but not Bluetooth. Very upset if this is an issue that can’t be resolved. :(
It’s not the car I have a Cadillac and my 12Pro Max does the same thing. Worst phone I ever had.
I had my vehicle checked and it’s still an issue. I also cannot play any social media videos while on Bluetooth in my Ford. The video will play but there is no sounds at all. This is true with Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. I can’t understand why it doesn’t work but my Android does fine.
I started having the exact same issue recently when playing music through Bluetooth in my car. I’m not sure if it’s linked to a recent iPhone update bc I’ve had my 11 Pro Max since Sept 2019 but it’s very annoying. It doesn’t happen when connected to other devices, only my car radio.
Mine does the same thing. I have had this iPhone 12 Pro for less than a month and it does this every time I play music in my car. It never used to happen with my old iPhone and it doesn't happen with anyone else's phone with my car's Bluetooth.
It’s not your car and it will not be resolved. The only way I can play music in my car is through CarPlay and I have a Cadillac it’s not your car. I transitioned from an Android to Apple in December, worst decision ever. Worst phone I ever had. The 12 Pro Max.

It’s not Ford it’s the iPhone.
Also adding sound will not play from any browser while connected to Bluetooth on the Ford. I do want to add that they play fine when connected to AirPods.

Nope and the return process is ridiculous especially due to COVID. Shame on Apple and T-Mobile.
