Macbook Mobile Account is locked

Good morning! I have the following problem. A mobile user has been created on a MacBook. The password is known and the account is not locked in Active Directory. When the MacBook is connected to the network, the user can log on. When it is not connected to the network, the message "Your Account is locked" appears. How can I unlock the account for offline login? Thank you very much for any help. Kind regards! Torsten

Hello torsten177,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that the mobile user account experiences an error message when the MacBook is not connected to a network.

Are there other mobile users that use this MacBook and if so, does anyone else experience this? We recommend having a look at Set up mobile user accounts in Directory Utility on Mac to make sure everything is set up correctly. In particular step 7 might help.

If the same continues, reach out to Apple Support directly using the Enterprise information from Contact Apple for support and service.

Thanks!
