My daughter is locked out of her iCloud account

My daughter has locked out of her iCloud account, but Apple is sending a recovery email to her iCloud email which we cannot access. What to do?

Answering security questions did not work, we do not know why; Apple says "date of birth" is not correct so we only have email recovery option - but Apple is sending the email to a locked email account.

Hey CarlPen,

Sounds like you're trying to regain access to your daughter's iCloud account, but not able to provide enough information to verify identity. We'll be happy to point you in the best direction for support.

If there's not a rescue email on file to send those emails elsewhere and you don't know the birthday on file to answer or reset the security questions, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support to assist from here. They can be reached using the following link: Get Support

You may also want to consider upgrading to two-factor authentication to avoid this situation in the future if able to regain access to the account, as this security method allows for account recovery. For more info, check out: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID

Take care!
