How to start guided access on iPad??

In the description of the guided access in sittings, it’s written that to start guided access we have to triple-click on the top (power) button.

But whenever I try this, my iPad closes :) !!

please tell me how to start it!

note: my iPad is Air 2020 (fourth generation).

Can't turn off guided access We have a 7th Gen iPad running iOS 15.6.1. Guided access has been set up on the iPad. I'm trying to turn guided access off, but triple clicking the home button isn't working (specifically nothing is happening) . A restart and/or power off isn't working as I get the message 'guided access enabled, triple click home key to turn off'. I've tried triple clicking the home button, triple clicking the side button (as this is mentioned in some posts I've seen about this issue) and I have tried to power the device off. New iPad mini 6 guided access not working Was really hoping iOS 15.0.1 would fix this issue but it did not. Cannot use guided access on this new device from day 1. The guided access itself works, it’s the getting out of it that does not happen. The screen is unresponsive when you have to enter the passcode to get out. Touch ID doesn’t unlock the guided access either. Even the hard reset didn’t work and the app I was in just reopens automatically when it comes back on. Super frustrating.
