Mi Mac Mini + Powered USB 3 Hub

Your M1 has 4 USB ports, 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C. USB-C is convertible to USB-A through adapters or cables, all widely available and fully compatible with any USB device. Avoid Hubs if you can, they’re nothing but trouble.

This is what I have connected to one of the USB-A ports on my M1 Mac mini. There is a power supply for it in the box, but I don't use the power supply as no devices here need it, so just bus-powered.
