I cant update my MacBook Pro 2015

I cant update my MacBook Pro. I bought it yesterday. Not new.

I can’t update from Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

I get an error with code -5101F (see picture).

even if I download Big Sur in the App Store I get an other error: firmware partition missing...

What can I do??

The Screen Shot appears because the computer was booted in Internet Recovery Mode ( Command + Option + r ) and there was No Internet connection at the time.

Suggest rebooting in Internet Recovery and it may require the computer password AND the Wifi password to establish an Internet Connection.

Recommend, if possible, use an Ethernet connection, but if not possible Wifi but bring computer as close to router as possible and Disconnect ALL Other devices using the Wifi - want to dedicate the maximum bandwidth to this computer.

Hello corné241,

It sounds like you aren't able to update your Mac computer from Yosemite to the latest version of Big Sur as you're seeing the error. Since then, have you been able to boot up the computer? If your Mac is stuck on the error screen, you may want to contact Apple Support. First, take a look at this article:

If your Mac doesn't start up all the way
