Mac Mini M1 & Zoom Virtual Background Working ?

Can anyone confirm if and how well Zoom virtual backgrounds work on the Mac Mini w/M1, and if using 8 or 16GB mem? (or if you know if works on the M1 on air or pro)

The Zoom page unspecifically notes a non Intel 8 core+ Req\, but I’d like to confirm with someone who’s had it work great on the M1 (or not)

I have the macbook pro M1 with 16gb ram and zoom virtual background do not work with the latest zoom update 5.4.9. I have tried it as a stand alone or with all the major browsers and no luck. The whole virtual backgound is very buggy and may work with a green screen, but it cannot work without a green screen (which my 16" macbook pro and iphone 11 can easily do).
