Phone number not associated with my new iPhone

Just change to my new iPhone 12 Pro Max and regardless it says I can receive iMessages and FaceTime on my number keeps sending awareness that the number will expire in 26 days. What’s the meaning? What to do?

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

It's likely to be a problem with Messages and FaceTime not signing you in with your phone number on your new phone.

Go to Settings and turn off both Messages and FaceTime. Restart your iPhone then go back to Settings and turn them on again.
