Lost contacts after removing email account from iphone

I lost very important contacts just because i removed email account from my iphone mail app .. i have tried restoring contacts from icloud but it didnt work

please help guys

iPhone 7, iOS 14

does this mean there is no way to get the contacts without having to use same email again !!?

The contacts where more than likely part of that email.

"Choose information from your email account, like Contacts or Calendars."
