on my new MacBook Pro using Big Sur 11.1
I didn't want my Notes on my ipad anymore and ended up deleting them off my entire iCloud.
I have a back up but I do not know how to re-store them on my macbook.

Depending on how long ago they were deleted, once login to www.cloud.com and use the same Apple ID and P/W to get to Notes in iCloud. Once in, look for Deleted or Recently Deleted and UnDelete them.
I understand, they might be kept for 30 days before they are permanently deleted.

I logged into iCloud and absolutely 'nothing'!
I think it might be 'iDrive' as that functionality has a 'Recently Deleted' option and as I don't sync anything in iDrive, it was empty as well.
There must be a folder that the NOTES are stored on my computer!!!

I've just had a look.. I don't have the patience for this anymore....
I just found out that the TimeMachine doesn't back up Containers etc., so they are lost...
