I’ve Forgotten my old Apple ID and need it to update my old Mac. Is there any way to recover it?

Use Apple's iForgot service or contact their Account Security team.
Unless there's a record at your end, it's not possible to actually recover it. Apple runs passwords and password tries through a one-way encryption algorithm.
