Sending messages via email on mac n iphone

I started a conversation on my mac with my email and i was wondering if i text them on my phone will it use my number instead? if it does how to i turn that off?

Check your settings on the phone. Settings/Messages/Send & Receive/Start New Conversations From.

Receiving and sending messages from my phone number on my mac.
