Zoom in/out with mouse scrolling wheel on iPad Pro

Guys, I work with plans, pictures, CAD programs and PDF plans on my iPad Pro, how can you zoom in/out on any file or program? I don’t have the Magic Mouse 2, I have a regular Logitech’s M325, the scrolling wheel works pretty well but when I press control + scrolling in/out nothing happens. Please help!

Hi minifender,

Thanks for coming out to Apple Support Communities for help with zooming on your iPad, and your mouse scroll wheel behavior. We're glad to point you in the right direction.

While specific features in third-party apps may vary and would be supported by the app's developer, it's possible to configure zoom settings for all apps by configuring the Zoom feature in Settings > Accessibility > Zoom.

The following guide has more information:

Zoom in on the iPad screen

This guide goes over options for configuring your mouse behavior:

Use a Bluetooth mouse or trackpad with your iPad

To enable the ability to zoom with your Scroll Wheel, head into Settings > Accessibility > Zoom > Keyboard Shortcuts, and then enable the option Zoom with Scroll Wheel. Hold the Control ⌃ key while scrolling to adjust the zoom.

We're here for you if you've got any questions.

Have a great day!
