Can I set my new Apple MasterCard statements to be wireless and maybe only be sent if there's a balance due?

I just got this card. They're mailing me an actual Titanium card & hopefully I can learn to use the Wallet APP that I found on my iPhone. But I don't really ever need any paper statement copies and I'd actually never even like to see a emailed one unless there's a Balance due. I don't plan on using it much. For sure I'll need to learn how to use the one on the iPhone and not just the standard one when it comes.

Lastly, is there anyway to set it up to be auto-paid just before the Due Date from my Chase account?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14

Thanks. Here’s my shortened summary of what you said that I’ll put in my notes:

  1. A new Apple Card is Automatically put in your Wallet APP
  2. You can use it in a Contactless way.
  3. You must manage the payments yourself.
  4. After every payment, you’ll get an email.
  5. You will get monthly statements by email.
  6. More info - Apple Card & Info about Apple Card - Apple Community

So, how is this card & APP used “in Contactless way”? I’m new to all of this new way of paying for stuff, so how do I do this? Please be specific in a few sentences and don’t just give me a site link where I can learn it myself. Do I pull up the Wallet APP at the cashier and do something on the APP and then hold the iPhone somewhere? Does something read something visually or electronically?

If you applied for the Apple Card and were approved it should already be in your Wallet app and you should be able to use it in a contactless way. You must manage the payments yourself. Every time you make a payment you will get an email (required by law) and once a month you will get a monthly statement by email. Thanks Barnabas. I’ll give it a try. Since I have an iPhone 7-Plus, it seems to be that I double-tap the Home button in the middle at the bottom & not the side button.

So, I guess the APP connects electronically, not visually, so it doesn’t matter at all how or where I’d hold the phone and that double-tap thing keeps me safe from strangers walking by and unknowingly grabbing a payment from me?

As far as the “Titanium” regular card, I would think they have to making them Chipped since some places aren’t accepting cards without Chips anymore.

I swipe my Chipped debit card or I can just insert the chip end as it Processes. I guess that would then mean it couldn’t be called Contactless. 👍
