We just got a new radio with CarPlay and everything works fine but my iPhone 6s does not want to dictate where we need to go. It’s works fine when not connected to CarPlay and the audio goes down when it’s supposed to say something but it just doesn’t we have tired everything! It’s so annoying because we spent a lot of money. It also working fine on other iPhones and I have the same settings

We understand that you're having an issue with Siri dictation while your iPhone is connected to your car via CarPlay.
Is your iPhone using a wired or Bluetooth connection?
If you're using a Bluetooth connection, we'd recommend that you're also running the latest iOS version. If you need help to update, you can follow the steps here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't already, we'd also recommend that you turn off Bluetooth in Settings > Bluetooth, restart your iPhone then enable Bluetooth again.
We'd also recommend that you check with your stereo manufacturer to ensure that the firmware for your stereo is also up to date.

We appreciate you sharing these details with us. Let's reset your Location & Privacy, restart your iPhone then test it again. You can go to Settings > General > Reset and choose Reset Location & Privacy. This will reset your location services and privacy settings to their default.
Do you have Do Not Disturb While Driving enabled? You can go to Settings > Do Not Disturb to check.
