When i try to FaceTime and watch films etc at the same time, the sound level on the film (usually in safari) is terribly low and is near impossible to hear even through FaceTime is fine.
Is it possible to adjust sound levels for individual applications?

Depending on how the web site is set up, Safari videos often have a separate volume control within the window where the video is being played.
Also Sound Source from Rogue Amoeba software. Also not free.
On the media player in the website - youtube for example, I have the volume set to full.
If you mean safari's settings, it has the volume symbol in the URL bar but that only mutes safari.
