I cannot access photos from my macOS Mojave version 10.14.6 when in my Facebook and Instragram any longer - PLEASE HELP!!
OK - is this only with recent pics - if so, are they in jpg format, or HEIC format?
How are you trying to select them? Should be from the "Photos" link in the media section of the panel - see screenshot...
The easiest way might be to export the photos to a folder first, and then upload them from there.
(If that is not acceptable, please reply back with much more detail about your system, device that is taking the pictures. Any updates to your system of camera, any other changes which may have taken place, and full details of what happens when you try).

Where is your photos library stored?
Is it set as the system library (photos preferences - is the button greyed out?)
Have you done any system updates recently - expecially to a newer version of MacOS.
Thank you for replying! I used to be able to do access all my photos from FB and Instagram and now I no longer can do this for some reason. I have a macOS Mojave version 10.16.4 - I take most all my photos with my iPhone 8 plus - it's like the link or connection that used to be there is no longer there? Do you need more info? My excuse is that I'm 65 and not a tech person but appreciate the help!
When I'm in FB for instance and I click on photos, it says "no media found" (??) I did not used to - it used to pull up all my photos - it now says either "no media found" or "loading images" and no images come up... not like in your screen shot!
My computer said it will try to update macOS Sierra (it has been Mojave) tonight so perhaps that will help. But it may not have enough disk space it said...what do I do then?? I have iCloud storage space and am paying for it but honestly I'm not sure what all this means - if is can update perhaps that will solve the issue?? Thank you for your help!!!
the problem is when I'm on my computer not my iPhone...
I will try that - the photos are just in my photos library on my mac and on my iPhone...
