Red dot 🔴 when making a phone call

I have updated my iPhone 8 to the newest os14. I understand and know the green dot and yellow dot in its entirety. But from all the answers I have seen for the red dot I am not completely satisfied. My red dot comes On only when l am calling and /or receiving a call Fron select few numbers (3 in total), it never occurs any other time and never on any other numbers.

What I want to know is, is it possible that my phone call is being recorded by an app or something else that I have no control of or option to shut off? Thanks

If you see orange or green indicators in the status bar

With iOS 14, you might see an orange or green indicator in the status bar on your iPhone. These indicators appear when the microphone and/or camera are being used by an app.

An orange indicator means the microphone is being used by an app on your iPhone.

A green indicator means either the camera or the camera and the microphone are being used by an app on your iPhone.
