iPhone 12 Pro Max Lightening videos and photos

I have a new IPhone 12 Pro Max but when I take a photo or video you’ll see the actual real image but then when you view the photo or play the video they go much brighter and don’t look normal - can anyone help?

Hi there Trancerhunter,

We understand you're noticing your pictures and videos are lighter and brighter on your new iPhone 12 Pro Max, and we'd like to see if we can assist.

Check to see if you have HDR enabled, as this may explain what you're noticing: Adjust HDR camera settings on iPhone

Cheers!
