Easy Airprint printer for 90 yr old mom to use with iphone and ipad

My mom is 90 and believe it or not she uses an iphone and an ipad. We have tried two printers and they are wifi enabled but they just don't stay connected and she can't figure out how to set them back up. I'm looking for a compact printer that prints easily from an iphone and an ipad. Not needing a separate app from the printer would be a plus. Compact is a plus as she puts it on her night stand in the bedroom. Needs to be simple and consistently connect to iphone and ipad without any hassle. Thanks for any suggestions.

This contains a list of AirPrint enabled printers. As far as one that would meet her needs, I'd be willing to say that most everyone here probably has a different printer and it would be difficult for you to filter out what everyone says they use. I would take a little time to go to someplace like Staples, or Best Buy and see what they have that may meet your size restrictions and then see if they are on the list for AirPrint. As far as the wi-fi issues, it may be that not being used much puts the wi-fi to sleep, but they should wake back up once they are either powered on or you wake them up.
